Remodeling Your Bathroom

Furnishing a new bathroom or remodeling an existing bathroom can be a daunting task, as most major home improvement tasks can often be. It is a difficult task because there are a number of different decisions to be made, decisions that are expensive and not easily reversible. Also, during the remodeling process, you will likely be without a fully functional bathroom so you will have to plan accordingly during that period.

There are a number of different styles you can emulate when designing your bathroom. Some of the most popular are contemporary, traditional, modern, transitional, eclectic and Mediterranean just to name a few. While the bathroom may seem like a small room, there are many different elements to be tweaked, not limited to bathtubs, faucets, flooring, lighting, and showers. One of the major elements of a bathroom is the vanity. There are endless options for contemporary vanities and they come in all different sizes, as small as less than 36″ bathroom vanity and up to a 72″. The vanity can include one or two sinks, countertops, backsplashes and a mirror. All of these elements within the vanity can be altered as well.

Most importantly, have fun with remodeling your bathroom and be sure to think your decision through before remodeling.
