This how-to will show you how to connect games up for LAN, the method changes slightly for games.
Make sure all the PC’s are connected to the network. Firstly attach them via Ethernet (Cable) or WiFi, through a router.
Make sure they’re connected. Go into Control Panel and then network settings, Make sure it says LAN (Local area network) and make sure all PC’s are connected.
Turn off the firewall. Usually, LAN wont work unless you turn off your firewall. To do this go to control panel and click windows firewall, click the off radio button and click OK.
Set up the game. First go into the multiplayer option, if required, select profile etc, next, click on LAN connection. There may be more than one option, Choose the right one through process of elimination.
Play the game. Good! You should now be set up, just play like an ordinary multiplayer game!
Fixing. If it doesn’t work, make sure you’ve completed all the steps and make sure your firewalls off.
