How to Land the Plane on Top Gun (for NES)

Are you losing another life every time you beat that mission? Does it end your gaming session? Follow this guide for help.

  1. Keep the plane centered at the landing strip. If it says move, though, move. Remember to press down on the D-pad when it indicates up and press up when it indicates down.
  2. Keep the plane speed from 300 to 320 mph. This is where people normally mess up.
  3. Do not freak out like the angry video game nerd does when he can’t land it. It’s just a video game.
