General Contest Rules
1)
Winning shall be limited to only one prize per contestant within thirty
days except major prize giveaways as determined by KXPC.
Contestants may not misrepresent themselves in an attempt to win or claim
prizes.
2)
Past or present employees of KXPC radio, their families, and employees of
other radio stations, are ineligible to win.
3)
Employees of a sponsoring business may not sign up to win at their own
business location.
4)
Contests are open to legal residents of Oregon who are 18 years of age or
older. Legal identification may be
required.
5)
All federal, state and local laws apply.
Contest is void where prohibited. All
taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner or winners.
6)
By claiming a prize, winner(s) consent to the use, without additional
compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness for promotional and/or
advertising purposes in connection with the contest. Winners may be required to furnish an affidavit of
eligibility and release.
7)
KXPC is not responsible for telephone or computer malfunctions of any kind prior to
or during a contest. Should a
contestant be cut off due to a malfunction the next in line will be allowed to
play.
8)
Contest winners will have two weeks in which to claim prizes at KXPC’s
office during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday, office is closed for lunch between noon and 1:00p.m.).
9)
All claims are subject to verification by KXPC and all decisions are
final.
10)
KXPC reserves the right to change the contest rules at anytime.
11)
KXPC reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.
12) *KXPC will not be held responsible for any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from or in conjunction with benefits of entry.
